What is regenerative medicine?
Regenerative medicine is a new branch of medicine, which is based on the use of strategies similar to those used naturally by the body for the renewal of damaged cells and tissues.
It is the interdisciplinary field of research and clinical applications focused on the repair and regeneration of cells, tissues or organs in order to restore a damaged function.
The new techniques in regenerative medicine use mesenchymal cells as a source of growth factors and other proteins present in blood plasma, all aimed at stimulating tissue regeneration and Hyperbaric Medicine are combined to give us an infinite range of possibilities.

Growth factors trigger biological effects such as cell proliferation and differentiation, the generation of blood vessels and the migration of cells to places where regeneration is needed.

Numerous clinical trials with mesenchymal stem cells of the umbilical cord without previous substantial manipulation, which are in the experimental phase, are currently underway.
